RESOLVED Can not accecc to Office365(students) using Safari

This issue has been resolved around May 11th at 2:15 in 2019.

About from May 10th 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, users couldn't sign in to Students Office365 (@eagle.sophia.ac.jp) using macOS/iOS Safari, and it may not be completely fixed.

This trouble does not happen on
- Android or Windows
- Other than Safari (ex. Firefox) on macOS/iOS

There is not any trouble on teachers Office365 (@sophia.ac.jp)

Mailing List Service Delay

We found there has been some delay on Mailing List Server since yesterday, 4th Sep.

1. E-mail delivered by Mailing List Service may delay.
2. Web log-in for administrators' Menu takes more than 3 min.

We are now checking system failure.

RECOVERED Internet Access Failure via sophiawifi on some campus

Since we had finished the replacement of the network facilities on 23:30 26th August, the internet access have been disabled until we fixed on 10:15 27th Aug. 

Affected Service: sophiawifi on Mejiro, Ichigaya and Hadano campus

DEFECT and HALT of high spec calculation Server "biwa"

biwa does not work correctly and reboots irregularly because of its CPU defect, since 2nd May 2018.
Please stop using biwa and save your important data to your own storage ASAP.

From about 17:00 6th April 2018, all users cannot login to Sophia-mail for students and alumni.
This is due to the Microsoft authentication servers, so we ICT office can do nothing but just wait. 

This defect does not affect the Sophia mail for faculty and staff.


We kindly ask you to wait until the system will be recovered and thank you for your understanding.

【RECOVERED】eduroam Defect on Sophia NW for External Users

During the time period below, eduroam on Sophia Campus Network had been partially unavailable.

 From 11th March 2018 to 20th March 2018 14:00


This issue is caused by the change of the network construction on 11th March and recovered now.
We deeply apologize for the inconvenience.

Both cases below were not affected by this defect.
1.  The use of eduroam on Sophia Campus by Sophia Users
2.  The use of eduroam on Other Organization by Sophia Users


3.  Only use of eduroam on Sophia Campus by the users of other organization was impossible, and this caused the delay of the revelation.

Since yesterday 11th March, journal viewing via VPN was not available.
