There will be NW construction from February and March 2023 as follows.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
(1) Floor Switches Updated (Bldg. 7, Bldg. 8, Hoffman Hall)■Construction Details
・Floor switches will be replaced in Bldg. 7, Bldg. 8, and Hoffman Hall.
・Due to the replacement work, the NW will be shut down as follows.
・NW cannot be used during the work as follows
Bldg. 7 → Wireless LAN is not available
Bldg. 8, Hoffman Hall → Neither wired LAN nor wireless LAN is available.
・When using equipment connected to the NW (wired LAN or wireless LAN), please use it in buildings other than Building No. 7, Building No. 8, and Hoffman Hall.
■Date of implementation
・Bldg. 7: 3/5 (Sun.)
・Bldg. 8: 3/4 (Sat.)
・Hoffman Hall: 2/26 (Sun.)
(2) Building Core Switch Upgrade
■Construction Details
・The core switch installed in the building will be upgraded.
・Due to the upgrade work, the NW will be shut down as follows.
・All NWs, both wired LAN and wireless LAN, are unavailable during the work.
・Please use it in buildings other than those where work is in progress when connecting devices to the NW (wired LAN and wireless LAN) and using them.

(3) Wireless LAN Construction (Bldg. 2, 2F, Bldg. 7)
■Construction Details
・We will replace and relocate the wireless LAN equipment (access points).
・The wireless LAN in the vicinity cannot be used during the replacement process. (Wired LAN use will not be affected.)
・Please use wireless LAN on floors and buildings other than the replacement work in progress.
■Date of implementation
Bldg. 2, 2F: 3/13 (Mon.) – 3/14 (Tue.)
Bldg. 7: 3/14 (Tue) – 3/17 (Fri)
(4) Renewal of Switches for Teaching and Research Systems (Bldg. 10, B1F, Krupp Hall, 4F)
■Construction Details
・The switches will be replaced on the B1F of Bldg. 10 and on the 4th floor of Krupp Hall.
・Due to the replacement work, the NW will be shut down as follows.
・All NWs, both wired LAN and wireless LAN, are unavailable during the work.
・The affected areas are as follows
Bldg. 10,B1F switch → Bldg. 10 auditorium,B1 floor
Krupp Hall 4F switch → COM-X
・Please use NW (wired LAN and wireless LAN) on floors and buildings other than the renewal work in progress.
