We are pleased to inform you that the campus network connection service “VPN”, provided by the ICT Office, will now support an integrated authentication system featuring Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
To prevent unauthorized logins by individuals other than the actual users, MFA will be mandatory for VPN access only.
We understand that this will require additional steps during authentication, but we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in strengthening information security.
■Target Users
All faculty, staff, and students (including junior college students) use the integrated authentication system.
*MFA will be required only when using VPN, even if you do not normally use MFA.
■Start Date and Time
Monday, November 17, 2025, around 10:00 AM
■Authentication Method
Authentication will be performed by entering a one-time code displayed on a dedicated app installed on your personal smartphone. To set up MFA, you will need to install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone.
If you do not have a smartphone, please contact the ICT Office.
