The policy regarding the availability of Zoom after graduating/retiring has been revised.
Sophia ICT Accounts for graduating students and retiring faculty members will be deleted on the date below:
- Graduating students: March 31, 2025 (Mon.) 17:00
- Students proceeding to master/doctoral program or changing department
: March 31, 2025 (Mon.) 9:00
- Retiring teachers/researchers: April 1 (Tue.) 9:00
Please read the following information carefully to understand what is required to renew/delete your account.
*After your account is deleted…
- The Integrated Authentication System (Loyola, My Sophia, Moodle, CaLabo MX, My OPAC, Mailing List System), SophiaWifi, eduroam, VPN, and Wired LAN which require authentication will no longer be available.
- You will not be able to use any PCs in the PC rooms.
- Files saved in My Folder (O drive) will be deleted.
- Files saved in the home directory (including UNIX files) will be deleted.
- Files saved in OneDrive will no longer be available.
- Free Office (Word/Excel etc.) will no longer be available.
- Pweb/lctweb service will no longer be available. You cannot create or browse your website.
The Zoom account registered with Sophiamail address will not be deleted, but the user license will be changed to Basic (Meeting time out in 40 minutes).
From April 2025, Zoom accounts registered with Sophiamail address will no longer be available for those who have graduated or retired (including emeritus professors).
However, as a transitional measure, the suspension of Zoom accounts can be postponed upon request if necessary, but only until the end of March 2026. For further details, please contact the ICT Office.- [Non-degree Students, Part-time teachers, Researchers].

- You can continue to use your email address and My Folder (O drive). Your login ID will be changed to a new Student ID.
- The account with the new student number will be available from March 31 (Mon.) at 17:00. Please use the old student number until March 31 (Mon.) at 9:00. Please note that the services provided by the ICT Office, including Sophia Mail, will NOT be available from 9:00 to 17:00.
- The new Account Notice will be distributed with a new student ID card.
- Even though you cannot log in, your email will still be valid during the above period.
- If you want to check your Sophia Mail during the period above, please set up forwarding to another email address in advance. (However, you can NOT send emails from Sophiamail)
