What you can do with the Sophia ICT Account
- Using Single-Sign-On systems
- Integrated Authentication System
It is an authentication system that serves as an entry point for single sign-on.
- Microsoft 365 (SophiaMail, OneDrive, Free Office, Faculty portal site, etc.)
You can use Microsoft365 services including sending/receiving send e-mail from “sophia.ac.jp”(faculty) or “eagle.sophia.ac.jp”(students)
Sophia University students and faculty can download Office software for free from the Microsoft website and install it on their own PCs.
Faculty and staff can use the ‘Sophia M365 Portal’ site for bulletin boards, etc.
- Loyola
Loyola is an educational affairs management system. Users can register and view information related to university courses, such as syllabi, course registration, grades, and the bulletin board.

- Moodle
Moodle is an online learning management system.
Students can check class materials and submit assignments online.
Teachers can use this system to post class materials, set assignments for students, and evaluate their work.
- Other systems
You can use the Self-learning Portfolio, Zoom (Web meeting tool), My OPAC (for searching library materials and databases), the Mailing list management system, and CaLabo MX (for language study).

You can receive and send e-mails from “sophia.ac.jp” account (need initial settings).
- Integrated Authentication System

You can connect your laptops or smartphones to the internet.
Teachers can connect their PCs in classrooms and offices (wired LAN recommended).
- PC rooms, On-demand printers / Multi-functional printers
PCs and Printers are available for writing essays, printing them out, self-learning, etc.
Teachers can conduct classes in PC Rooms.
How to acquire the Sophia ICT Account
Some are given accounts automatically, and some need to apply for an account. It differs from his/her position.
