ICT OfficeICT-Office started distributing Trend Micro anti-virus on March 13, 2019.
Eligibility
Teachers, Faculty Staffs and Students who belong to “Sophia University” can download/use the anti-virus (Trend Micro Virus Buster Corporate Edition) for free until they retire/graduate the school.
- Teachers, faculty staffs and students who belong to “Sophia University” are eligible to use the anti-virus.
- It will be disabled as soon as you graduate, retire, or withdraw from the school. In that case, please uninstall the software.
- The anti-virus software will be unavailable automatically if you don’t connect to the Sophia University Campus Network certain period. Therefore, connect to the network occasionally.
- ICT-Office doesn’t assume the anti-virus is used on home network.
Instructions for Windows PC
1. Uninstall Existing Anti-virus
If you have already used anti-virus software other than Trend Micro Virus Buster Corporate Edition, uninstall it and restart your computer in advance.
* This rule doesn’t apply to Windows Defender.
2. Installation
IMPORTANT: You cannot install/set up the anti-virus software if you don’t connect to the Sophia University Campus Network.
When you install it off campus, please connect to the VPN in advance.
Download MSI package of “Virus Buster Corporate Edition” from following URL.

-32bit: https://antivirus2019.cc.sophia.ac.jp:4343/officescan/download/agent_cloud_x86.msi
If the following screen is displayed, process as follows.
Click “Next” and complete remaining procedure.
After the installation, latest virus database will be downloaded automatically.
Instructions for Mac PC
1. Uninstall Existing Anti-virus
If you have already installed and used anti-virus software other than Trend Micro Virus Buster Corporate Edition, uninstall it and restart your computer in advance.
If you upgrade your OS with a previous version of Virus Buster installed, please uninstall the previous version first, and then install the new version.
2. Installation
IMPORTANT: You cannot install/set up the anti-virus software if you don’t connect to the Sophia University Campus Network.
When you install it off campus, please connect to the VPN in advance.
Download installer of “Virus Buster Corporate Edition” from following URL.
When you remove the anti-virus from your Mac, use following uninstaller. (VPN connection is not necessary)
