User Guide

The ICT Faculty Support Desk lends equipment for use in classes and provides ICT-related support in the classroom.

Support

• Lending of AV equipment.
• Assistance with connection to and use of AV systems in the classroom, and inquiries relating to malfunctions.
• Inquiries regarding the usage and pre-testing of Zoom for high-flex classes.
• Inquiries regarding the equipment and connections used with Zoom in classes.

Equipment for Lending

• PC (For part-time teachers only. Please consult in advance if full-time teachers use PCs)
• Wired microphone
• Web camera
• Laser pointer
• BD player (region-free)
• Cables (HDMI, LAN, audio cables, etc.)
  (Please consult in advance as there are limits to the type, length, and quantity)

Notice

• We cannot provide support outside office hours.
• On holidays, the support desk is closed, and support services are unavailable.
• We respond to inquiries in the order they are received. Please note that there may be delays due to the high volume of inquiries.
• As class-related support is the top priority, there may be delays in responding to requests for outside class use and other administrative tasks.
• Requests for “full” support of connecting/operating the AV systems or for a specific time may not be accommodated due to staffing constraints.
